Mumbai University Admissions 2025: Mumbai University has released its first merit list for admissions in the academic year 2025-26. Around 2.5 lakh students had earlier registered for admission, and over 8 lakh applications were submitted in different graduation courses. Students have to check the cut-off list of each college through their respective websites or by contacting the colleges directly.

Cutoff for different streams
The cut-off for Ruia College's FYBA is 90 percent. The cut-off for the FYBACM (Bachelor of Arts First Year in Computer Management) program is as per the high school. 91.33 percent for Arts, 90.6 percent for Commerce, and 91.6 percent for Science. The cut-off for the General FYBSc (Science Graduation First Year) program is 60 percent. 61.5 percent is required for FYBSc Bioanalytical, and 64 percent for FYBSc Biochemistry.

Admission and all processes as per UGC norms

Pooja Raudale, director of the examination and evaluation board, said, "All colleges must strictly follow the admission schedule following the government and Mumbai University norms." She also added that all admissions will be done only based on syllabus-wise capacity, reservation policies, and eligibility requirements, all of which will be as per the guidelines laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
