MPPSC Exam Tips: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is going to conduct its most important and competitive State Service Examination (Preliminary)-2025 on 16 February. Through this, recruitment is done for administrative and police along with many other important posts in the state. If you are also going to appear in this exam, then you have less than twenty days left for the exam.

To cross the initial stage of the exam, smart strategy along with hard work and every minute matters. In such a situation, your focus should be on maximum revision of the subjects studied, accuracy, and time management. A clear, strategic, and planned approach will help increase your confidence on the day of the examination.

60-30-10 rule

Divide the number of hours you study daily based on the '60-30-10 rule'. According to this, use 60 percent of the time for revision, 30 percent of the time for tests or slightly difficult topics, and the remaining 10 percent to keep yourself fresh. While revising, focus only on high-weightage topics and MP General Studies through short notes, mind maps, and flashcards. Solve two mini-mock tests daily.

Understand the trends
Now is not the time to do traditional study. Instead, take the papers of the last ten years and seriously analyze them to know the trends of the questions asked. Identify the repeated topics, frequently asked MP GK facts or questions, and thought-based questions that come every year and give them more time.

Blind spot technique
Every night before sleeping, note down five such subjects or topics that you have been avoiding or on which you do not have a strong grip. These are called the 'blind spots' of your preparation. Next morning, first of all, take at least 45 minutes for these topics. This will ensure that you do not miss any part related to the exam.

For CSAT
Focus on accuracy rather than speed to solve CSAT questions. Solve the easiest 50 percent of questions first in the mock test. This will help you score good marks. Use short tricks and guessing tricks to solve math questions. Solve two to three reading comprehension passages every day.

MP GK and Current Affairs

Read the current affairs of the last six months thoroughly. Keep making short notes of news and events. Also pay attention to the tribes, folk dances, festivals, rivers, national parks, government schemes, etc. of the state.
