The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has revised the exam schedule for the State Service Main Examination-2025 within a day of the initial announcement. MPPSC had previously issued a notification on June 19, scheduling the MP State Service Main Examination-2025 between August 17 and August 22. However, the Commission has now released a revised schedule, setting the exam dates for August 8 to August 13. This means the examination will now be held nine days earlier than originally planned.

**Reason for the change in exam dates**
According to Dr. Ravindra Panchbhai, OSD at MPPSC, two dates for the MP PCS examination were clashing with UPSC examinations. Consequently, the Commission decided to revise the schedule for the MP State Service Main Examination-2025.

**Last date for applications**
As per the official notification issued by MPPSC, applications for the State Service Main Examination-2025 will be accepted until July 15. Additionally, candidates will be given an opportunity to make corrections to their forms between June 30 and July 17. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam starting August 8. Furthermore, admit cards will be released a few days prior to the examination.

**Number of vacancies**
A total of 158 candidates will be selected under this recruitment drive. The vacancies include 10 posts for State Administrative Service (Deputy District Magistrate), 22 posts for Deputy Superintendent of Police, 65 posts for Block Development Officer, 06 posts for Naib Tehsildar, 02 posts for Cooperative Inspector, and 14 posts for the Madhya Pradesh Subordinate Revenue Service.
