Which positions are included in this recruitment?

Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made for Medical Officers (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani, Homeopathic), Dental Surgeons, Veterinary Officers, Drug Inspectors, and other related positions.

What are the eligibility criteria?

For the Medical Officer position, candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognized institution and registration with the Medical Council. For Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy positions, a degree in the respective system of medicine is mandatory. A BDS degree is required for Dental Surgeons, and a BVSc and AH degree is required for Veterinary Officers.

Age Limit

The minimum age for applicants is 21 years, and the maximum age is 40 years.  Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.

What is the application fee?

Candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 125. The fee for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates is Rs. 65, while for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates, the fee is only Rs. 25. Selection Process

Salary Details

The posts being recruited under UPPSC Recruitment 2025 are mostly Group B Gazetted posts, therefore, selected candidates will receive a good salary. Candidates selected for the posts of Medical Officer (Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathic), Dental Surgeon, and Veterinary Officer will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.  Candidates appointed to the posts of Drug Inspector and other technical positions will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100 per month. In addition, they will also receive dearness allowance, housing allowance, medical facilities, and other government benefits.
