MHT CET 2026: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has granted another opportunity to candidates who missed the deadline to apply for MHT CET 2026. The authority has announced the opening of a special two-day registration window on April 15 and 16, 2026. However, candidates applying during this period will be required to pay an additional late fee of ₹500.

Why was the special registration window opened?
This decision was taken following requests from candidates who had appealed for another chance to submit their applications. Only those candidates who were unable to register previously are eligible to apply through this window. Candidates who have already applied for both attempts are not required to apply again.

APAR ID Mandatory; Applications Not Possible Without It
Before applying, candidates must generate their APAR ID via DigiLocker. The application process cannot be completed without an APAR ID.

Exam Schedule and Key Information
The second phase of MHT CET 2026 will be conducted between May 10 and May 16, covering both the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups. The first phase, meanwhile, was held between April 11 and April 20.

No Edit Facility Available
The CET Cell has clarified that candidates applying through this special window will not be allowed to make any modifications to their application forms. Therefore, candidates must fill in all details carefully, as no changes will be possible once the form has been submitted.
