Maharashtra SET 2025 Registration Begin: There is a big update regarding Maharashtra SET. Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has started registration for Maharashtra State Eligibility Test 2025 (MH SET) from today, 24 February. Students who are thinking of appearing in the Maha CET 2025 exam this year, visit the official website of SPPU setexam.unipune.ac.in. According to the schedule, the last date for Maha SET 2025 registration is 13 March 2025. However, with a late fee of Rs 500, students can register for Maha SET 2025 till 21 March 2025.

Master's degree is mandatory.

For Maharashtra SET, the student must have a master's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized institute or university. Students who have already passed SET in a particular subject will not be allowed to appear for the exam again in the same subject.

Maha SET 2025 Registration Fee

General category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 800 for Maha SET 2025. On the other hand, candidates belonging to OBC, Special Backward Class, Vimukta Janjati (A), Nomadic Janjati (B), Nomadic Janjati (C), Socially and Educationally Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer only), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Divyang, Visually Handicapped and Transgender category will have to pay a fee of Rs 650. The application fee has to be paid in online mode through a debit card or credit card or net banking.

When will the exam be held?

This year the Maha SET exam will be conducted on the 15th of June. This exam will be conducted at Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Chhatrapati, Sambhaji Nagar, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Ratnagiri, Parbhani, Nandurbar and Panjim (Goa) examination centers.

The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

The Maharashtra SET exam will be conducted in offline mode. There will be two papers in this exam. Maha SET 2025 Paper 1 will have questions from the Teaching and Research Aptitude section. Paper 1 will have 50 multiple-choice questions. Two marks will be given for each correct answer. This paper will be for one hour. At the same time, Maha SET 2025 Paper 2 will be conducted for a total of 32 subjects. In these 32 subjects, the student will have to choose the subject in which he has completed his PG degree. Maha SET 2025 Paper 2 will have 100 questions. The exam for this paper will last for two hours.

These many marks are required to pass.

General category candidates will need at least 40 percent marks in total to pass this exam. At the same time, reserved category candidates will have to score at least 35 percent marks.
