MEA Internship 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a graduation degree to be eligible for this MEA internship program. Students in their final year of graduation may also apply, provided the internship is a mandatory component of their final-year curriculum. Candidates must also meet the age requirement: they should not be older than 25 years as of December 31 of the year in which the internship takes place. Candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria before submitting their applications.
Stipend of ₹10,000
Candidates selected for the internship will receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 to help cover basic expenses during the program. Additionally, the Ministry will also cover the cost of a single round-trip air journey, subject to a limit based on the prevailing economy-class airfare between Delhi and the candidate's home state capital or the location of their college or university.
