A shocking case has come to light from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Here many students got fake religious conversion certificates made for minority quota, 8 admissions have been cancelled in the investigation.
A case of fake religious conversion of some students for admission to UP medical college has come to light. 17 students adopted a fake method to get an MBBS seat from minority quota, after which it was revealed in the investigation. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training of Uttar Pradesh has cancelled the admission of 8 candidates in the first phase of UP NEET counselling due to presenting fake certificates. This fraud has been done in Subharti Medical College for minority quota seats.
Fraud on 17 out of 22 seats
Subharti Medical College is a private medical college and it comes under the Buddhist minority institution. In the first phase of counseling, 22 seats were allotted for minority quota, on which 17 students had obtained MBBS seats by submitting fake certificates. On which the Directorate of Medical Education has now taken action. After investigation, the registration of 8 students has been canceled, while 9 students have fled leaving their seats.
Complaint was received
According to the information received, the Directorate of Medical Education had received a complaint of fake certificate, after which this big fraud was revealed. In the investigation, the certificates of students taking admission in all minority medical colleges of UP were examined.
DME Director Kinjal Singh had said that after the investigation, the admission of students whose certificates are found to be fake will be canceled, along with legal action will also be taken against them. According to the information, the Medical Education Department is currently seriously investigating this matter, after the completion of the investigation, strict action will be taken against everyone.
