Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2026: The online registration process for NEET UG counselling 2026, for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Maharashtra, has commenced. The State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the detailed counselling schedule for the 85% state quota seats. Eligible candidates can apply through the official counselling portal.

The online registration process began on August 6, 2026. Candidates can apply until August 12, 2026. The deadline for uploading necessary documents and paying the prescribed fee is August 13, 2026.

Who can apply?
Only candidates holding a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate and who have completed their Class 10 and 12 education within the state are eligible for the 85% state quota seats. Candidates from other states can apply for institutional quota seats in private medical colleges.

Required Documents
Before registering, candidates should ensure they have all the necessary documents ready. The following documents may be required during this process:

Domicile certificate
Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
Other mandatory documents specified in the notice

Additionally, a registration fee of ₹1,000 must be paid online.

Do choices need to be submitted again for subsequent rounds?
Yes. The State CET Cell has clarified that candidates participating in the second or subsequent rounds of counseling must submit fresh college choices. Choices made during the first round will not automatically carry over to the next round.

Furthermore, if a candidate submits a 'Status Retention Form' after accepting a seat, they will not be eligible to participate in any subsequent upgradation rounds. Therefore, please fully understand all the rules before opting for this.
