KVS Admission Result 2026: First List for Balvatika and Class 1 to be Released on This Date

KVS Admission Result 2026: The first provisional list for KVS admissions for the year 2026 will be released in April. Find out key details regarding the admission process here.

If you have applied for admission to Balvatika or Class 1 at the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the 2026-27 academic session, your wait for the results is now coming to an end. KVS has officially announced the dates for the release of the first provisional list.

When Will the First Provisional List Be Released?

The first selection list for Balvatika-1, 2 (where applicable), and Balvatika-3 will be released on April 8, 2026. Meanwhile, the first list for Class 1 students will be released on April 9, 2026. In Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, due to ongoing elections, the lists for both Balvatika and Class 1 will be released on April 10, 2026.

Dates for the Second and Third Lists

If seats remain vacant after the first list, KVS will release a second provisional list on April 16, 2026. Subsequently, the third and final list will be released on April 21, 2026.

How ​​Will Admissions Be Conducted?

Priority for selection will first be given under the RTE (Right to Education) Act. Following this, students belonging to Service Priority Categories I and II will be given an opportunity. Finally, admissions for other students will be conducted for any remaining vacant seats.

When Will Offline Admissions Take Place?

If the number of online applications received is low, a new notification for special categories (RTE, SC, ST, OBC) will be issued on April 21, 2026. Offline registrations will be conducted from April 22 to April 26, 2026, and admission lists will be released—and admissions granted—between April 27 and April 30. Updates for Other Classes

Admissions for Balvatika-2 and classes above Class 2 (excluding Class 11) will be conducted offline from April 2 to April 8, 2026. The selection list for these classes will be released on April 13, and the admission process will be completed between April 15 and April 20.

Class 11 Admission Updates

Admissions for Class 11 will commence following the declaration of the Class 10 results by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). For KV students, registration will begin within 10 days of the result declaration, and the entire admission process will be concluded within 30 days.

Final Admission Date

The final date for admission to all classes—with the exception of Class 11—is June 30, 2026. Should any seats remain vacant, admissions may continue to be granted until July 31, 2026.
