KVS Admission Rules, Kendriya Vidyalaya: Kendriya Vidyalaya is one of the top government schools in India. There are 1250 branches of Kendriya Vidyalaya in India. Apart from here, there are Kendriya Vidyalaya in 3 other countries as well. The student transfer policy of Kendriya Vidyalaya makes it different from other schools. Most of the children of people in government jobs or the army study here. Keeping them in mind, the student transfer policy of KV has been made very flexible.

The rules for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya are very strict. KV Student Transfer Policy: Kendriya Vidyalaya Student Transfer Policy

First rule- If parents have been transferred from one city or district to another city or district, then children with KV TC will get automatic admission. If the number of students in the class is complete, then a new section can be opened.

Second rule- Whenever people working in paramilitary force or defense are posted in a non-family area or Naxal-affected area, they can get their children admitted to the Kendriya Vidyalaya where their family is living.

Third rule- In cases where the mother or father has not been transferred and for some other reason they want to get the child admitted to another branch of Kendriya Vidyalaya, then they will have to get approval for TC from the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned area.

Fourth rule- Many times parents are in favor of transfer not to another city, but to another Kendriya Vidyalaya in the same city. In such cases, after the approval of the concerned Deputy Commissioner, the certificate will be issued based on merit.

Fifth rule- If you want to be admission to Project Kendriya Vidyalaya, then the number of students in that class should be less than 45. However, KVS has given the DC the right that in special cases they can give admission to the student in the project/nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya.

KV School Transfer Rules: What is the process of transfer in Kendriya Vidyalaya?

After knowing the Kendriya Vidyalaya Student Transfer Rules, you should also understand its complete process. This will make it easier to apply for transfer (KV to KV Student Transfer Rule).

1- The first step of the Kendriya Vidyalaya student transfer process is to write an application. Inform the school principal about your situation and write that you want to get your son/daughter transferred from one KV to another. In the application, write important details like the child's name, class, and roll number. Also, write the reason for the school transfer.

2- Submit the KV student transfer application to the principal's office. If you have been transferred from one place to another, then attach that transfer order with the application. If the school principal feels that your application is acceptable and you are eligible to get your child transferred as per the rules of KV Sangathan, then you will be given a form.

3- Fill all the details asked in this form carefully. Do not give any wrong or false information in it. Keep in mind that you may need this form in the future too. Fill out this form and submit it to the school principal's office. After this, you will be given a transfer receipt. Then you can take your child's TC i.e. transfer certificate from the school.

4- After getting the transfer certificate, you will have to go to the Kendriya Vidyalaya where you want to get your child transferred. Submit the transfer certificate and transfer receipt to the principal's office of that school. Write an application stating the reason for getting the transfer. If the principal gives you a No Objection Certificate, then you can get your child admitted there.
