KVS Admission 2025: The process for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas is starting tomorrow, know important information related to admission

KVS Admission 2025: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the official notification for the admission process in class 1 and Balvatika for the academic session 2025-26. The online application process will start from March 7, 2025, and interested parents can apply for their children till March 21, 2025. Applications for class 1 will be available at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in and for Balvatika 1 and 3 at balvatika.kvs.gov.in.

KVS Admission 2025: Important Dates

• Registration for Class 1 and Balvatika 1, 3: 7 March 2025 (10 am)
• Last date of registration: 21 March 2025
• First selection list of Class 1: 25 March 2025
• First selection list of Balvatika: 26 March 2025
• Second selection list: 2 April 2025
• Third selection list: 7 April 2025
• Offline application for Balvatika-2 and above class 2 (except 11th): 2 to 11 April 2025
• First provisional list of these classes: 17 April 2025
• Admission process for Balvatika-2 and above class 2: 30 June 2025
• Admission in Class 11: 2 to 11 April based on the availability of seats Offline application will be done till 2025

Age limit

Class 1: 6 years (till 31 March 2025)

Balvatika-1: 3 to 4 years
Balvatika-2: 4 to 5 years
Balvatika-3: 5 to 6 years
Admission in class 2 and above

Admission to classes other than class 1 will depend on the availability of seats. Offline application can be done from 2 to 11 April 2025. Parents have to submit the application form in the Principal's office of the concerned Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Required documents

The child's birth certificate (will be returned after verification)
SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable)
Residence certificate
Service certificate (if parents are government employees, transfer details of last 7 years)
2 passport-size photographs of the child

For Balvatika-1 and 3, visit balvatika.kvs.gov.in.

Register and fill in the required information.

Fill the application form carefully and upload the required documents.
