JSSC's big action: Candidature of 44 PGT candidates cancelled, know the reason here..

JSSC PGT 2023 Update: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has issued a very important notice, which has given a big shock to 44 candidates dreaming of becoming Post Graduate Trained Teacher (PGT). JSSC has canceled the candidature of all these 44 people i.e., the recruitment process itself. These candidates had appeared in this examination with a postgraduate degree in other subjects instead of their original subject. Among them, there are 34 candidates of the Sanskrit subject and 10 candidates of the History subject. Let's know

1. Error in the degree related to the subject
This was the main reason for the cancellation of recruitment, due to which a total of 44 candidates were excluded.

Sanskrit (34 candidates): These candidates did not have a PG degree in the main subject 'Sanskrit'. Their degree was in related subjects like 'Sanskrit Sahitya', 'Jyotish', 'Acharya', or 'Navya Vyakaran', which the commission declared invalid for recruitment.

History (10 candidates): Similarly, the recruitment of candidates having a PG degree in 'Medieval History' or 'Ancient History' for the 'History' subject was also cancelled.

2. Document Verification (DV) and Certificate Related Problems

Many candidates missed the document verification process, due to which they had to be excluded.

Absent in DV: A total of 14 candidates (10 History and 4 Sanskrit) did not appear before the commission on the due date to get their original certificates verified.

Non-Submitted Necessary Certificates: 4 candidates did not submit the required cleanliness certificate, due to which their candidature was canceled.

3. Two courses simultaneously

3 candidates (2 Sanskrit and 1 History) had done two parallel courses at the same time before 13 April 2022, which is against the rules.

4- The result of 14 candidates is still on hold

Apart from all these, the results of 14 other candidates have been kept on hold due to an order of the Jharkhand High Court. The commission will take any decision on the future of these candidates only after the final decision of the court.
