As per the new notification, the deadline for online reporting for Round 1 has now been extended to 5 pm on June 22, 2025 (Sunday). In this step, candidates have to submit their choices (freeze, float or slide), upload documents, and pay the fee to accept the seat.

How to pay the Round 1 seat acceptance fee
To pay the fee for accepting the seat, candidates have to visit the JoSAA website josaa.nic.in and enter the “Candidate Login” section. After entering the login credentials, complete the online transaction by choosing the fee payment option and downloading and saving the payment confirmation page.
