NDA/NIA Entry Scheme
NDA/NIA exam is held twice a year. For this, the age should be between 16.5 to 19 years. For Naval Wing, a 12th pass is required with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. UPSC takes the written exam of NDA. After this, there is an SSB interview.

10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme
After going through the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme in the Navy, one has to undergo a four-year B.Tech course at Naval Academy Ezhimala (Kerala). Recruits from this scheme are recruited in the Education Branch and Executive and Technical Branch of the Navy. For this, the 12th (PCM) must be passed with at least 70% marks.
