Who Can Apply?
To apply for the MBA program, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration from a recognized university. A minimum aggregate score of 50% is required for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while 45% is required for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid score from the CAT 2025 examination. For international students, a GMAT score will be accepted.
What is the Selection Process?
Admission to the JNU MBA program is not granted solely on the basis of CAT scores; the university also places significant emphasis on candidates’ personality and communication skills. The selection process is conducted in three stages, with the highest weightage—70%—assigned to the CAT 2025 score. Subsequently, shortlisted candidates are required to participate in a Group Discussion (GD); the final stage involves a Personal Interview (PI), which carries a weightage of 20%.
What is the Application Fee?
To apply for the JNU MBA 2026-28 program, candidates are required to pay an application fee based on their respective categories. The application fee has been fixed at ₹2,000 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, whereas candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay a fee of ₹1,000. As the entire application process is conducted online, the fee must also be paid through online modes, such as debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or UPI.

Candidates are required to upload certain essential documents while filling out the online application form. This includes a passport-sized photograph, signature, Class 10th marksheet, Class 12th marksheet, graduation marksheet, and the CAT 2025 scorecard.
