JMI Admission 2026: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has begun the admission process for the 2026-27 academic session. The 2026 Admission Prospectus was launched on Friday, February 20th. Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), along with Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and Registrar Prof. Mohammad Mehtab Alam Rizvi, has launched a 150-page prospectus for admissions to the 2026 academic year. With this, students can apply for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), advanced diploma, PG diploma, certificate, and diploma programs at Jamia Millia Islamia.

Three New Entrance Test Centers, No Fee Increase
Jamia announced upon commencement of the admission process that there will be no increase in course fees for any program. According to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, admissions under the multiple entry mode for the four-year undergraduate program (FYUP) will begin from the academic session 2026-27. Jamia has also expanded its network of entrance test centers. This year, three new entrance test centers will be opened, located in Jaipur, Dehradun, and Kishanganj. This brings the total number of test centers to 11.

When can applications be made?
Jamia administration has informed that the application process for admission to all courses has begun, and online applications for admission to courses offered by Jamia can be submitted until March 25th. Applications for courses based on JEE Main, NATA, BPT, NEET, NCET, and CUET merit can be submitted up to 10 days after the results are declared. Applications for four-year undergraduate courses can be submitted until April 10th.
