JKBOSE: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued an important notification regarding the external practical examinations for the Class 11 (HSP-I) annual/regular 2025 examinations, scheduled under the October-November session in the Winter Zone of the Jammu Division. The board has instructed all schools and examiners to conduct and evaluate the practical examinations strictly according to the prescribed rules.

Due to the extremely cold weather and sub-zero temperatures in many areas, JKBOSE has decided that the external practical examinations will now be conducted at the students' own schools. This rule will apply to both government and private schools. The aim is to ensure the safety, convenience, and better attendance of students during the practical examinations.

The board stated that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the convenience and well-being of the students, as it would be difficult for them to travel to other locations for practical exams in the harsh cold and inclement weather. Conducting the practicals at their own schools will ensure better attendance and provide a safe and comfortable environment for Class 11 students.

JKBOSE has urged students, parents, and schools to pay attention to further notifications and instructions from the board. Schools will provide students with the complete schedule and necessary guidelines for the practical examinations in the coming days.

Schools with at least 25 students will be designated as practical examination centers.
According to the notice, a school will be designated as a practical examination center only if it has at least 25 students enrolled in a particular subject. Schools meeting this criterion will be considered practical examination centers for that subject. This will eliminate the need for students to travel to other schools in the biting cold, allowing them to comfortably take their practical exams at their own school.
