JEECUP Exam 2026: The UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination—Joint Entrance Examination-Polytechnic (JEECUP 2026)—will be conducted from June 2 to June 9. The Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh, has released both the admit cards and the guidelines for the exam. The examination body released the JEECUP admit cards for Groups A, E1 (Biology), and E2 (Mathematics) on May 27, 2026. Hall tickets for the remaining groups were released on May 29, 2026. Candidates are required to download their JEECUP hall tickets from the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

To download their admit cards, candidates must enter their Aadhaar number on the official portal. UPJEE(P) or JEECUP 2026 is a state-level examination conducted for candidates seeking admission to government and private polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Instructions for the Polytechnic Entrance Examination:
The UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination (JEECUP 2026) will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. All questions will be displayed sequentially in both Hindi and English. Each shift of the examination will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.

The entrance examination will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. Each question paper will contain 100 questions, for which four options will be provided. Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer.

Candidates must reach the examination center two hours prior to the commencement of the exam and complete the biometric registration process.

After checking their allotted room on the seating plan displayed at the examination center, candidates should immediately proceed to the examination hall and ensure they complete the login process on time—using their Login ID and Password—on the computer assigned to their specific Roll Number.

Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing any stationery items into the examination hall, with the sole exception of a black or blue ballpoint pen. Bringing log tables, electronic calculators, mobile phones, and communication devices into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.

Possession of any prohibited item shall be deemed an instance of unfair means. Applicants are required to carry their Admit Card and Aadhaar Card (or any other photo identity card) with them.

Candidates who do not possess an Admit Card will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. As per the official examination notification, mock tests will be made available on the official portal two days before the examination to enable candidates to become fully familiar with the format of the online examination.
