JEECUP Counselling 2025 Schedule: The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh has released the counseling schedule for admission to Polytechnic Diploma courses. According to this, the choice-filling process of Round 1 will start on 27 June 2025 on the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
The last date for filling out the options of courses and colleges has been fixed as 2 July 2025. After this, the Round 1 seat allotment result will be released on the official website on 3 July 2025. Candidates should fill in the options in time.
Counseling will be conducted in two phases.
The JEECUP 2025 counselling process conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh will be completed in two phases. There will be three rounds in the first phase, in which all eligible candidates will be able to participate. At the same time, the second phase (special) will be conducted for reserved quota seats in minority institutions, which will have two rounds. This process will be exclusively for filling the seats of Muslim/minority institutions.
Candidates who have passed Group A, B, C, D, F, G, H, I, K1 to K8, and L in the UPJEE 2025 exam will be eligible to participate in this counseling. During the counseling process, candidates will have to register, pay the fee, and then go through the process of seat allocation and reporting. Seats will be allotted based on the JEECUP 2025 cut-off.
Know what to do after seat allocation?
After seat allocation in JEECUP 2025 counseling, it will be mandatory for the candidates to choose either the float or freeze option. If a candidate "floats" hoping for a better option in the future, he can participate in the next round. At the same time, selecting the "freeze" option means that the candidate is accepting the allotted seat and now he will not participate in further rounds.
After choosing any option of Float or Freeze, the candidate will have to deposit Rs 3000 as seat acceptance fee and Rs 250 as a counseling fee, a total of Rs 3250 on the online portal. Those who choose the freeze option will then have to go to the district help centre on the scheduled date for document verification. After document verification, the candidate will have to report to the allotted institute and deposit the remaining fee, only then his admission process will be considered complete.
