There is important news for students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2027. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced online registration for JEE Main Session 1, effective from October 24. Students can complete and submit their application forms until November 20, 2026, to appear for the Session 1 examination.

**Opportunity to Apply with a Late Fee**
If, for any reason, students are unable to submit their applications by the stipulated deadline, they may still complete the application process between November 23 and 26 by paying a late fee of ₹500.

**Eligibility Criteria**
To appear for the JEE Main examination, students must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Students currently enrolled in Class 12 are also eligible to apply. There is no age limit for appearing in this examination.

To fill out the JEE Main 2027 application form, please visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. On the website's home page, under 'LATEST NEWS', click on 'Online Application Form for JEE (Main) 2027 – Session 1'.
First, you must complete the registration process by clicking on the 'New Registration' link.
Once registered, candidates can complete the application process by providing the required details and uploading their photograph, signature, etc.

Finally, submit the form after paying the prescribed fee.
After submission, take a printout of the fully completed form and keep it safe.

Application Fee
When filling out the JEE Main 2027 form, candidates from the unreserved category are required to pay ₹1000, while those from the General-OBC and General-EWS categories must pay ₹900. Female candidates belonging to the unreserved, General-OBC, and General-EWS categories are required to pay ₹800. The application fee for candidates in the SC, ST, transgender, and PwD categories is set at ₹500. All students can pay the fee online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
