JEE Mains 2026: JEE Mains Session 2 Admit Cards Released—Here’s How to Download Instantly

Admit cards for Session 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Main) 2026—the country’s largest engineering entrance examination—have been issued. The National Testing Agency (NTA) made the hall tickets available on the official website on March 29, 2026. Candidates who successfully applied for this examination can now download their admit cards online.

The admit cards issued by the NTA are available in PDF format, which candidates can download using their login credentials. As the examination dates are fast approaching, all students are advised to download their hall tickets without delay.

When Will the Exam Be Held?

The JEE Mains Session 2 examination will be conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026. This examination consists of two papers: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning). Since lakhs of students appear for this examination, it is crucial to check the details regarding the exam timing and center location in advance.

JEE Main is a national-level entrance examination that facilitates admission into the country’s prestigious institutions, such as NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Candidates who achieve a good score in this examination may subsequently qualify for JEE Advanced, which opens the pathway for admission into the IITs.

What Information Does the Admit Card Contain?

The admit card serves as more than just an entry pass; it contains comprehensive information related to your entire examination process. It contains important details such as your name, roll number, examination center address, date and time of the exam, photograph, and signature. After downloading it, it is essential to carefully verify all this information so that any errors can be rectified in a timely manner.

On the day of the examination, it is mandatory to carry a valid photo ID proof (such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc.) along with your admit card. Entry into the examination center will not be granted without an admit card. Furthermore, it is advisable to reach the examination center well in advance to avoid any last-minute complications.

How to Download the JEE Mains Admit Card 2026

First, visit the official JEE Main website: Jeemain.nta.nic.in.
On the homepage, click on the link titled “JEE Mains Session 2 Admit Card 2026.”
Now, enter your Application Number and Password, or your Date of Birth.
Your admit card will appear on the screen.
Review it carefully and click on the download button.
Save the PDF file and take a printout.
