Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the JEE Main examination, students must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Students currently studying in Class 12 are also eligible to apply. There is no age limit for appearing in this examination.

Documents Required for Application
Aadhaar Card: The Aadhaar card must be updated with the correct name, date of birth (as per the Class 10 certificate), a recent photograph, address, and the father's name.

UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities): The UDID card must be valid, up-to-date, and renewed if necessary.

Category Certificate: Students belonging to the EWS, SC, ST, or OBC-NCL categories should ensure their category certificate is current or updated. Additionally, students should have a valid email address and phone number ready.

To complete the JEE Main application form, you must first visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

On the website's home page, look under the "LATEST NEWS" section and click on the link: "Registration for JEE (Main) – 2027 Session-1 is LIVE!" First, you need to register by clicking on the 'New Registration' link.
Once registered, candidates can complete the application process by providing further details and uploading documents such as photographs and signatures.

Finally, the form must be submitted after paying the prescribed application fee.

Application Fee
For the JEE Main 2027 application, candidates from the unreserved category are required to pay ₹1000, while those from the General-OBC and General-EWS categories must pay ₹900. Female candidates belonging to the unreserved, General-OBC, and General-EWS categories are required to pay ₹800. The application fee for candidates in the SC, ST, Transgender, and PwD categories is set at ₹500. All candidates can pay the fee online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
