The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a major update for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 candidates. The agency released the JEE Main admit cards on January 17, 2026. Candidates who have applied for this examination can now download their admit cards from the official website. This examination is crucial for millions of students aspiring to pursue a career in engineering. The admit card contains the exam date, center details, and important instructions, which must be read carefully.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Released: How to Download
The NTA has made the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card available on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The Session 1 exams will be held on January 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2026. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards well in advance to avoid any last-minute problems.

If the direct link for the admit card is not working for any reason, there is no need to panic. In such a case, candidates can log in through other links available on the website. This will require the application number and password. After logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen, which should be downloaded and printed.

The admit card contains important information such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination center address, and the date and time of the examination. It is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card along with the admit card on the day of the examination.

Exam Dates
The JEE Main examination is conducted every year in two sessions in a computer-based test (CBT) mode. The first session is held in January and the second session in April. The results for Session 1 are expected to be released by February 12, 2026.  The JEE Main Session 2 examination will be held between April 1 and 10, 2026, and the results will be declared by April 20, 2026.
