The examination for B.E./B.Tech (Paper 1) is being conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, while April 7 has been designated for B.Arch and B.Planning (Paper 2). JEE Main Shift Timings and Reporting
The JEE Main examination will be conducted in two shifts daily. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The NTA has explicitly clarified that candidates must arrive strictly at the reporting time specified on their JEE Main admit cards. The gates will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination (at 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM), after which no one will be granted entry.

**Special Exemptions for Diabetic Candidates**
Candidates suffering from diabetes are permitted to carry medicines, fruits (such as bananas or apples), and a transparent water bottle. However, they are not permitted to carry packaged food items such as chocolates, candies, or sandwiches. Additionally, candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category will be provided with the facility of a scribe, as well as extra time to complete the examination.
