The JEE Main 2026 exam is going to be held across the country tomorrow. Lakhs of students will be appearing for this exam.  If you are also appearing for the exam tomorrow, then this news is very important for you. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set some strict rules regarding the exam day, and ignoring them may even prevent you from entering the examination center. Any kind of mistake in the JEE Main 2026 exam can be costly. Therefore, reach the examination center on time, carry all the necessary documents, and follow the NTA rules completely.

The National Testing Agency has issued clear instructions regarding the JEE Main 2026 examination. These rules will be applicable before and during the examination. The agency says that no kind of negligence will be tolerated to maintain the fairness of the examination.

Reaching the examination center on time is essential

According to the NTA, all candidates must reach the examination center at least 2 hours before the start of the examination. Entry will not be given in case of delay due to any reason, such as traffic, bus, or train delays. Under no circumstances will entry be allowed after the gates are closed.

Latecomers will not get a chance

The agency has made it clear that no appeal or request will be accepted for candidates who arrive after the stipulated time. Reaching the examination center on time will be entirely the responsibility of the candidate.

Admit card and identity card are mandatory

To enter the examination center, candidates must have a printed admit card downloaded from the NTA website. A valid photo identity card must also be shown along with it. Permission to take the exam will not be given without the correct documents.

Strict action may be taken for changing seats

Each candidate will be allotted a seat according to their roll number. If any student sits anywhere other than their assigned seat, it will be considered as using unfair means (UFM). In such cases, the candidate's examination may be canceled.

Verify the question paper carefully.

Candidates must carefully examine the question paper displayed on the computer screen. If the question paper is different from your chosen subject, immediately inform the staff present in the examination hall.

Cooperation with examination staff is mandatory.

It is essential to cooperate fully with the examination staff during identity verification, biometric checks, and other procedures. Failure to cooperate may also result in action being taken.
