JEE Advanced 2024: IIT Madras has created 3 new exam centers in foreign countries, see the list here

If you are going to register in JEE Advanced then this news is useful for you. This time IIT Madras has created three new centers outside the country.

Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has made some changes to the list of exam cities where the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024) will be conducted. As per the latest list, the institute has created 3 more examination centers outside India. After that, candidates will now have the option to choose new exam center cities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu. The institute has started the registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 on April 27. Candidates can choose their exam city in order of preference while filling out the application form.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE Main 2024 exam and secured a rank in the top 2.5 lakh are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2024. The window for submitting online applications will be available till May 7. Candidates are advised to select their preferred examination center while submitting their application form as no subsequent requests will be considered. Let us tell you that candidates can also choose from three cities – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024, a statement flashing on the official website.

What to do if the application form has already been submitted?

Candidates who have already selected centers in India and paid the fees will get the opportunity to improve their center and country choices. The facility will be available at the appropriate time. Candidates should note that there will be different examination fees for choosing the examination center in India and abroad.

The number of exam cities increased

According to the JEE Advanced 2024 exam city list, there has been an increase in the number of cities or towns compared to the provisional list announced earlier with the information bulletin. As per the revised list, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra have the highest number of exam centers at 26, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 18 exam cities and Gujarat and Karnataka with 12 exam cities each.

JEE Advanced 2024: How to fill out the application form?

First of all, go to the official website jee adv.ac.in

Then go to the link 'JEE Advanced 2024 Registration'

After this, register yourself before proceeding with the form.

Now after successful registration, fill out the application form

Then upload the scanned certificates, and registration fee and check the application form.

Finally take a printout of the application form for future need

Female Candidates (All Categories): Rs 1600

SC, ST, PWD Candidates: Rs 1600

All other candidates: Rs 3200

OCI/PIO card holders (where OCI/PIO card was issued before 04-03-2021)

Female Candidates (General & General-PWD): Rs 1600

Open (Gen-PWD): Rs 1600

Open (General): Rs 3200

Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO card holders (where OCI/PIO card was issued on or after 04-03-2021)

Candidates residing in SAARC countries: USD 100

Candidates residing in non-SAARC countries: USD 200

Registration fees for examination centers abroad

Indian citizens and OCI/PIO card holders (where OCI/PIO card was issued before 04-03-2021)

For all: US$100

Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO card holders (where OCI/PIO card was issued on or after 04-03-2021)
