JAC Supplementary Exam 2024: There is important news for the students who will appear in the supplementary examinations of Jharkhand Board 10th and 12th. Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the dates of supplementary examinations of classes 10th and 12th. The schedule has been released on the official website jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Candidates appearing in the examination can check by visiting the website.
When are the exams starting
As per the schedule, the compartment exams for class 10 will be held from July 9 to 13, 2024 and the compartment exams for class 12 will be held from July 9 to 16, 2024. The exams for both classes will be conducted in two sessions - from 9:45 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
It is worth mentioning that the practical exams for both classes 10th and 12th will be conducted by the respective schools from July 18 to 22, 2024.
For whom is the exam being held
Specifically, the compartment exams are being conducted for students who want to improve their marks obtained in the regular JAC board exams 2024 held in February.
Let us tell you that JAC class 10th and 12th examinations were conducted from 6 February to 26 February 2024, in which about 8 lakh students appeared. The total pass percentage in class 10th was recorded at 90.39 percent. Out of these, the pass percentage of boys was 89.70 percent and the pass percentage of girls was 91 percent. Similarly, the pass percentage of the science stream in the JAC class 12th examination was 72.70%. The pass percentage of the arts stream was 93.16% and the pass percentage of commerce was 90.60%.
