JAC Compartment Exam 2026: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the timetable for the Class 10 and 12 compartment examinations for 2026. Students who did not pass one or more subjects in the annual examinations will now have another opportunity to improve their marks. These exams will be conducted from August 7 to August 14, 2026.

The board has published the subject-wise exam schedule on its official website. Students are advised to check the details regarding exam dates, timings, and subjects in advance. The Council will conduct the Class 10 and 12 compartment examinations from 7 August to 14 August 2026. These examinations will be held in offline mode using pen and paper. Compartment examinations are conducted for students who did not pass one or more subjects in the annual board examinations. These exams provide students with an opportunity to improve their results and continue their further studies without losing an academic year.

Exam Guidelines
Arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes early.
Carrying the admit card is mandatory; entry to the exam center will not be permitted without it.
Carry a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar card, school ID, etc.).
The examination will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode.
Use only a blue or black ballpoint pen to write answers.
Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and other electronic items into the examination hall is prohibited.
Students arriving late after the examination has started may not be granted entry.
Do not leave the examination hall before the exam concludes and follow the invigilator's instructions.
Action may be taken for any form of cheating or use of unfair means.
Thoroughly check the details—name, roll number, subject, and exam center—printed on the admit card before the examination.
