Maitreyi College Internship 2025: Female students have expressed interest in pursuing internships at the recently established Vidushi Arundhati Centre for Indian Knowledge Traditions at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. So far, 250 registrations have been received for the internship from January to June 2026. The selection will now be conducted through a panel discussion on November 14th.

According to the college administration, more than 250 female students have registered for the first student internship (from January 2026 to June 2026), which was invited by the center. This demonstrates the students' deep interest and academic awareness of the Indian knowledge tradition.
This internship program is being conducted under the direction and guidance of the college's Principal, Prof. Haritma Chopra, and with the support and coordination of Vice Principal, Prof. Jyoti Singh. Its primary objective is to connect students with in-depth insights into Indian thought, culture, tradition, and knowledge, and provide them with opportunities for experiential learning.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Nodal Officer of the Center and DU Deputy Dean of Students' Welfare, stated that students selected under this program will play an active role in the Center's various academic and creative activities, such as event coordination, technical support, media and documentation, report writing, and research support on Indian knowledge systems.
Group Discussion on November 14, 2025
The selection process will be completed through a group discussion on November 14, 2025, after which the selected students will be formally associated with the Center for the period from January to June 2026.
Students who complete the program will receive a certificate of appreciation and an internship completion certificate jointly from the Vidushi Arundhati Center for Indian Knowledge Traditions, Maitreyi College, and the Council of Indic Studies and Research. Currently, this opportunity is available only for the girl students of Maitreyi College.
