Candidates who applied for the India Post Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2026 are eagerly awaiting the release of the results, which could end at any time. According to media reports, the GDS 1st Merit List 2026 may be released by the end of this month or in the first week of March. The merit list will be made available online on India Post's official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Please note that no candidate will be informed of the results in person. Selection will be without examination or interview
All candidates are informed that candidates for Gramin Dak Sevak positions will be selected without examination or interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and placed on the merit list. Candidates who make it to the list will only have to undergo a document verification process.

Salary of Selected Candidates
Candidates who are appointed after document verification will receive a salary corresponding to their position. Those selected for BPM positions will receive a salary of ₹12,000 to ₹29,380 per month, while those selected for ABPM/Dak Sevak positions will receive a salary of ₹10,000 to ₹24,470 per month.

Once the India Post Merit List 2026 is released, first visit the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
On the website's home page, go to "Online Engagement" at the bottom of the Candidate's Corner.
Select your state and click on the merit list link.
A PDF will open on your screen, allowing you to check your details.

The merit list will contain the successful candidates' post names, registration numbers, and divisions, along with other details. Candidates are advised to visit the official website from time to time for the latest updates.
