Why only a few out of lakhs get success?

Thousands of students in India come from small towns to big cities like Delhi and prepare for years. Despite studying for 10 hours every day, there is no guarantee of success. During this preparation, many students come under mental pressure due to stress and failure. Some students also have thoughts like suicide, because passing the exam is very difficult. UPSC has three stages of Pre, Mains and Interview. Lakhs of candidates appear in the first stage only, but very few pass in the last.

Coaching plays a very important role in the preparation of this exam. There are thousands of coaching centers in cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, whose fees are in lakhs of rupees. Many students spend all their or their family's savings in this preparation. Some people leave their jobs and start preparing for this and some meet the expenses by doing part-time work. At the same time, some experts believe that due to this preparation, the youth do not do any job for many years, due to which their earnings stop and the country's economy is also affected.
