IIT Roorkee New Course: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has launched its first Advanced Certificate Program in Quantum Computing, Algorithms, and AI/ML. This program will help students pursue careers in emerging technologies. The Continuing Education Center (CEC) at IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with TimesPro, has developed this six-and-a-half-month online course. Its objective is to enhance professionals' skills in new technologies and prepare them for the industry.

What will students learn in this program?
This program will provide students with a deep understanding of quantum computing, secure communications, and AI/ML applications. The course includes live online classes, simulations, and practical projects. Participants will be able to create and test quantum algorithms using tools like Quiskit, Pennylane, and IBM Quantum. They will also learn to apply quantum machine learning (QML) to areas such as finance, healthcare, optimization, and drug discovery.

The course includes over 300 hours of learning, including live sessions, recorded lectures, case studies, assignments, and a 30-hour capstone project. An optional campus immersion program at IIT Roorkee is also available for interested participants. Upon completion, a certificate will be awarded by IIT Roorkee's CEC.
