IIT Madras Recruitment 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has released a recruitment notification for various non-teaching positions for the year 2025. Who can apply?
A degree or diploma in a relevant subject is required for various positions, such as a Master's degree for Deputy/Assistant Registrar, a BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech or Diploma for technical and engineering positions, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree for Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy positions.
Experience is also required, depending on the position: 5 years of experience for administrative positions, 5-15 years for technical and engineering positions. Computer knowledge is mandatory for Junior Assistants. The age limit varies for different positions, with some positions being 27 years, others 32 or 45 years, and higher positions being 50-56 years.
Application Fees:
Candidates applying for Group A positions in this recruitment will have to pay an application fee of ₹1,200, while those for Group B and C (positions 8 and 9) are ₹600. SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities and female candidates are exempted from the fee.
Selection Process and Salary Details
Selection: The selection process for IIT Madras Recruitment 2025 includes a written examination, skill/trade/vocational aptitude test, and interviews for certain positions. All examinations will be conducted in the English language.
Salary: Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, which ranges from Level 3 (21,700-69,100) for Junior Assistants to Level 12 (78,800-2,09,200) for Senior Assistants.
