IIT Delhi's new executive program in Healthcare AI; apply by October 15..

The use of AI and machine learning in the healthcare sector is steadily increasing. AI is playing an essential role in tasks such as patient diagnosis, disease identification, medical imaging, clinical research, and hospital management. Recognizing this growing need, IIT Delhi has launched an executive program focused on AI in healthcare. This six-month online program is specifically designed for professionals and researchers who wish to understand AI technologies within the healthcare domain. Notably, prior knowledge of coding is not a prerequisite for this course. Interested candidates can apply until October 15, 2026.

**Healthcare AI Program to Run Until May 30, 2027**
The third batch of the 'Executive Program for AI in Healthcare' has been announced under the Continuing Education Programme (CEP) of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. The course is scheduled to commence on December 12, 2026, and conclude on May 30, 2027. The program will be conducted entirely online and spans a duration of six months.

**Who Can Apply?**
Professionals and researchers who have completed their graduation from a recognized institution are eligible to apply for this program. It is particularly beneficial for industry and academic professionals associated with healthcare, data science, or biological sciences. Expertise in coding is not required to participate; candidates from non-technical backgrounds are also eligible to apply.

**Live Classes on Weekends**
Classes will be scheduled on weekends to accommodate working professionals. Live, expert-led online sessions will be held on Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

**Fee is ₹1.50 Lakh**
The total fee for this course is ₹1,50,000. Additionally, 18% GST is applicable. The fee can be paid in two equal installments; each installment will be ₹75,000 plus GST. A two-day workshop will be held at the IIT Delhi campus upon completion of the program. Participants will also be required to complete a capstone project under faculty guidance.

**Training in AI and Medical Data**
The program will cover AI, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI. Furthermore, it will explain the use of clinical data in areas such as Agentic AI workflows, EMR, and medical imaging. Participants will also learn how to implement AI models safely and responsibly within real-world hospital systems.

**Apply by October 15**
Interested candidates can apply online until October 15, 2026. Applications can be submitted via the official IIT Delhi portal or the CEP website (cepqip.iitd.ac.in). Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded an e-certificate by IIT Delhi (CEP).
