Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to apply for an MBA:

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or a minimum of 6.5 CPI (6 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized Indian university or institute.

Students in the final year of a bachelor's degree or candidates awaiting results can also apply for admission to IIT Bombay's MBA program, provided they have obtained a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent in aggregate in their latest completed examination.

Candidates must have a valid CAT score.

As per the criteria of last year (2024), only four-year bachelor's degree or master's degree holders were eligible. The minimum marks and CPI requirements were the same.
