IISER Counselling 2026: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have released the complete schedule for admission counselling for the 2026 academic session. Candidates who have qualified in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) will now be able to participate in the counselling process. According to the official schedule, the first admission round for IISER 2026 counselling will commence on July 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Candidates will be able to view their seat allocation status by logging into the official IISER portal. Candidates who are allocated a seat must accept it within the stipulated timeframe. Failure to complete the process within the designated time may result in the cancellation of the allocated seat.
IISER Counselling 2026: Round-wise Admission Schedule
The first round of IISER counselling will run from 5:00 PM on July 24 to 5:00 PM on July 28. Subsequently, the processes for the second and third rounds will be conducted in August.

Timely Seat Acceptance is Mandatory
IISER has advised candidates to log in to the official portal during the respective admission window to check their seat allocation status and complete all necessary formalities on time. If a candidate fails to accept their seat within the prescribed deadline, the seat may be cancelled, and they will not be given the opportunity to participate in the subsequent stages.

The fee of ₹35,000 prescribed for General, EWS, OBC, and other related categories includes a non-refundable administrative fee of ₹10,000. Similarly, the amount of ₹17,500 prescribed for SC and ST candidates includes a non-refundable administrative fee of ₹5,000.
