IIMB Admission 2026: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has announced the B.Sc. (Hons.) program in Data Science and Economics. This is a four-year, full-time, residential program. The registration process for admission to the 2026-27 academic session has begun. Candidates can apply through November 20th by visiting the IIM Bangalore website: ug.iimb.ac.in. This undergraduate program will be offered at IIM Bangalore's new Jigani campus. Students will have two degree options: a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Data Science with a minor in Economics and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics with a minor in Data Science.

These two UG programs at IIM Ahmedabad will have a total of 80 seats. According to a notification issued by IIM Bangalore, the entrance exam for this UG program will be held on December 13, 2025, followed by in-person interviews in January 2025. Final offers will be issued by February 28, 2026. Admission will depend on passing the IIMB UG entrance exam followed by an interview.

Eligibility for B.Sc. (Hons.) at IIMB
For admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) program at IIMB, the age must be 20 years or less by August 1, 2026. Must have passed the 12th grade from a recognized board. Mathematics must be a subject in the 12th grade, and must have at least 60% marks in Mathematics in the 10th grade.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Fees

The fee for the first two years is ₹8.5 lakh per year. A limited increase will be made in the third year, subject to approval by the IIMB board. This includes tuition, hostel, and examination fees. However, mess charges will be paid separately. This will be managed on a cost-sharing basis. Students may incur an additional expense of approximately ₹8,000-10,000.
