IIM Executive MBA: IIM Visakhapatnam has commenced the admission process for the fourth batch (winter intake) of its Executive MBA (EMBA) program. This two-year program is specifically designed for working professionals. It focuses on management education while also emphasizing Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools and applications. The program was launched during a fireside chat at the institute themed "Leading What’s Next: From Experience to Readiness." Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, presided over the event. Raj Kumar Dubey, former Chairman of Indraprastha Gas Limited and former Director (HR) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, attended as the chief guest.

According to the institute, the Executive MBA program will comprise over 740 hours of interactive learning. The curriculum covers subjects such as Marketing, Economics, Finance and Accounting, Organizational Behavior, HR, Information Systems, Operations, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. The second year will include Project Management, Business Ethics and Law, various electives, and a capstone project.

Opportunity for a Global Learning Bootcamp
The program also offers an opportunity to participate in a Global Learning Innovation Bootcamp in collaboration with DCAC, Denmark. This will allow participants to gain insights into Denmark's business and workplace culture. Additionally, there will be two five-day campus immersion modules at IIM Visakhapatnam.

Eligibility and Admission Process
To be eligible for the Executive MBA program, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and possess a minimum of three years of full-time work experience. Admission will be based on a composite score derived from the EMAT (Executive Management Aptitude Test) and a personal interview. Candidates with valid CAT, GRE, or GMAT scores may be exempted from the EMAT. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive an Executive MBA degree as well as IIM Visakhapatnam alumni status.

What is the fee?

The total fee for the Executive MBA program at IIM Visakhapatnam is ₹11.90 lakh. However, the entire fee does not have to be paid at once. Payments are to be made in installments: ₹1.80 lakh for the first, ₹2.10 lakh for the second, followed by ₹2 lakh each for the remaining installments. The international immersion program in Denmark is optional, and a separate fee applies for it.
