IIM Indore PGP Admission 2026-28: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Indore) has changed the admission criteria for its flagship two-year Postgraduate Program (PGP) for the 2026-28 batch. According to the new admission criteria, the weightage of Class 12 marks and the personal interview round has been increased. IIM Indore will follow a three-stage selection process based on CAT 2025 scores – academic performance in Class 10 and 12, work experience, and performance in the personal interview (PI).
As per the policy, candidates will be required to appear for CAT 2025. A minimum sectional and overall percentile cut-off criteria must be met to be included in the admission process.
Weightage of 10th and 12th Marks Changed.
IIM Indore has changed the weightage of 10th and 12th marks in the PGP Admission 2026-28 criteria. The weightage of 10th marks has been reduced from 39% to 10%, while the weightage of 12th marks has been increased from 20% to 25%.
Work Experience and CAT QA Weightage
For the first time, IIM Indore has decided to assign a three-point weightage to professional work experience. CAT QA will receive the highest weightage of 23 points. Additionally, the sectional weightage for VARC and DILR has been increased. The weightage for VARC will be 16 points, and for DILR will be 16 points. Furthermore, the diversity factor has been increased to 7 points.
