Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for admission to open and online programs for the July 2025 session to July 31. This decision is relief news for those students who could not apply earlier. Now, interested students can apply for ODL and online courses by visiting the official website of IGNOU.

Students can apply on IGNOU's official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. IGNOU has also given this information in its social media post. The admission process is completely online, for which students have to keep scanned copies of necessary documents like photo, signature, academic certificate, etc., ready in advance.

Fill the IGNOU Admission Form with these steps.

First of all go to the official website of IGNOU ignou.ac.in.

Go to the Register Online tab and click on Fresh Admissions.

Now, click on the New Registrations tab.

You have to register by filling in the required information here.

Set Username and Password. It is important to remember them.
Submit the form after filling in all the required information.

Login details will be sent to your email ID and phone number. Log in using these details and fill in all the information asked.

Choose the program you want to study in.

Finally, submit the IGNOU registration form.

Keep these documents ready before applying.

Before filling out the online form, applicants have to keep scanned copies of some important documents ready with them. The size of these documents should also be within the prescribed limit.

Scanned photo: Less than 100 KB
Scanned signature: Less than 100 KB
Scanned copy of educational qualification documents: Less than 200 KB
Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any): Less than 200 KB
Scanned copy of caste certificate (if from SC/ST/OBC category): Less than 200 KB
