IGNCA PG Diploma: Learn translation and machine learning from AI; Technical diploma course started for youth..

IGNCA PG Diploma 2025: Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA) has started a modern course for the youth. This Post Graduate Diploma in Translation and Machine Learning (PGDTML) course is based on AI. Its objective is to introduce the youth to new methods of translation with the help of technology.
What is special about this course?
The special thing is that this course is not taught in traditional universities. In most universities, translation is taught only through theory, due to which students lack practical knowledge. At the same time, this course of IGNCA is based on 40 percent theory and 60 percent practical technology, through which students will not only learn to translate, but will also develop the ability to check their accuracy with the help of AI.
Opportunity to learn a language with technology
Dr. Arun Kumar Bhardwaj, Kalanidhi and Academic Incharge of IGNCA, said that through the course, it will also be taught where the translation done by AI can go wrong and how to correct it. Dr. Bhardwaj said that IGNCA starts many part-time courses every year.
IGNCA's new diploma courses
Last year, nine courses were being conducted, while this year their number has been increased to 13. This time, the institute has started four new courses. Post Graduate Diploma in Indian Art and Aesthetics (PGDIAA), Post Graduate Diploma in Rock Art and Ethno-Archaeology (PGDRAEAS), Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Ethnography (PGDAE), and Post Graduate Diploma in Translation and Machine Learning (PGDTML). All these courses will not only introduce the youth to the depth of Indian art and culture, but will also make them technically competent.
Employed people can also do the course.
A total of 25 25 seats are available in all the 13 part-time courses being run by IGNCA. Only those candidates can apply these who have obtained a graduation degree from a recognized university. This is a one-year part-time course. The special thing is that these courses have been designed in such a way that both working professionals and students can do the course. Its timing will be 6-8 in the evening. In which working professionals can also participate.
