When you become an officer by completing training through NDA, your monthly salary can be around 56,100 to 2,50,000. Salary varies according to rank and experience. 1. Flying Officer - This is the initial officer rank whose basic salary ranges from 56,100 to 1,77,500.

2. Flight Lieutenant - This rank is given after promotion, the basic salary of which ranges from 61,300 to 1,93,900

3. Squadron Leader - This is a senior post in which the basic salary ranges from 69,400 to 2,07,200

4. Wing Commander - This rank is given on the basis of experience and service, the salary in this ranges from 1,21,200 to 2,12,400.

5. Group Captain - This is a high officer rank, the salary of which ranges from 1,30,600 to 2,15,900

6. Air Marshal - The salary in this rank ranges from 1,82,200 to 2,24,100.
