ICAI Releases CA Exam Schedule: Find Out When Intermediate, Foundation, and Final Exams Will Be Held

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the dates for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examinations for the year 2026. This update is of immense importance to students who are preparing to appear for the CA exams this year. According to the new schedule, the CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations will be held in September 2026, while the Final examination will be conducted in November 2026. Additionally, details regarding the dates for filling out application forms and the correction window have also been released, enabling candidates to complete their application process in a timely manner.

When Will the Exams Be Held?

The CA Foundation examination will commence in the first week of September. The first paper will be held on September 2, followed by the second paper on September 5. The third paper will be conducted on September 7, and the final paper on September 9. The duration of the examination will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for the first two papers, while the remaining two papers will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

CA Intermediate Examination 2026 Schedule

The examination will be conducted in two groups.

Group 1 – Papers on September 1, September 3, and September 6.
Group 2 – Papers on September 8, September 10, and September 12.
The timing for all papers will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

When Will the CA Final Examination Be Held?

Group 1 – Papers will be held on November 2, November 4, and November 6.
Group 2 – Papers will be conducted on November 9, November 11, and November 13.
The timing for the papers will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, while the final paper will run from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

When Will Applications Begin?

The online application process for the CA examinations 2026 will commence on July 6. The deadline for applying without a late fee has been set for July 19. Meanwhile, candidates may submit their forms with a late fee until July 22, 2026. Additionally, a correction window will remain open from July 23 to July 25, during which students can make changes to their examination center or medium.

Next, log in or register.
After logging in, click on the “Apply for Exam” or “Examination Form” section.
Now, candidates should fill in their necessary details.
Upload the required documents.
Pay the fee, submit the form, and take a printout for your records.
