The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the dates for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation January 2026 session examinations. The schedule has been released online in PDF format on the ICAI's official website, icai.org. According to the notification, the January 2026 examination will be held from January 5 to January 24, 2026. Candidates can consider these dates and plan their exam preparations accordingly.

Group and Course-Wise Exam Dates
The ICAI will conduct the Final Course Group 1 exam on January 5, 7, and 9, 2026, and the Group 2 exam on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026. The Intermediate Course Group I exam will be held on January 6, 8, and 10, 2026, and the Group II exam on January 12, 15, and 16, 2026. In addition, the Foundation Course Examination will be held on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.

Furthermore, under the Members' Examination, the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) examination will be held on January 13 and 16, and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination (Modules I to IV) examination will be held on January 9, 11, 13, and 16, 2026.

Application Dates
Candidates wishing to participate in these examinations can fill out the application form online by visiting the official website eservices.icai.org within the stipulated dates. The application dates are as follows:

Starting date for filling the online application form: November 3, 2025
Last date for filling the form without a late fee: November 16, 2025
Last date for applying with a late fee: November 19, 2025
Correction date/exam city change date: November 20th to 21st, 2025

Exam Timing
All CA Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the papers. CA Foundation Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Papers 3 and 4 will be of two hours' duration. Furthermore, the final examination for Papers 1 to 5 will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, meaning 3 hours will be allotted for completing the papers. Paper 6 will be conducted from 2 pm to 6 pm, meaning you will be given 4 hours to complete the question paper. Admit cards for the exam will be available for download a few days before the exam date.
