ICAI CA January 2026 Exam Date: When will the exams be held?

According to the official exam schedule, the ICAI CA Foundation exams for the January 2025 session will be held on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026. Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the CA Foundation exam will be of three hours' duration, while Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be of two hours' duration. CA Intermediate Group 1 exams will be held on January 6, 8, and 10, and Group 2 exams will be held on January 12, 15, and 17.

The CA Final exams will be held over six days. Group 1 exams will be held on January 5, 7, and 9, while Group 2 exams will be held on January 11, 13, and 16. According to the ICAI, no exams will be held on January 14 due to festivals like Makar Sankranti and Pongal.

The January 2026 ICAI CA exams will also be held in nine overseas exam cities: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). Candidates will be allowed to choose between English or Hindi as the medium of instruction for answering the question papers. However, some papers will be conducted exclusively in English.
