CA Intermediate Exams to Begin on January 2
According to the ICAI schedule, the CA Intermediate Group 1 exams will be held on January 2, 4, and 6, 2027. Subsequently, the Group 2 exams will take place on January 8, 10, and 12, 2027. All Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, meaning candidates will have three hours for each paper. Students are advised to arrive at the exam center on time and adhere to the instructions provided on their admit cards.

When Will the CA Foundation Exams Begin?

The CA Foundation exams for January 2027 will also commence in the first week of January. Paper 1 is scheduled for January 3, and Paper 2 for January 5, 2027; both papers will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Following this, Paper 3 will be held on January 7, and Paper 4 on January 9, 2027. The timing for these two papers will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Thus, candidates will be allotted three hours for Papers 1 and 2, and two hours for Papers 3 and 4.

Application Process Begins on November 3
The application process for the January 2027 CA exams will start on November 3, 2026. Candidates will be able to submit their exam forms without a late fee until November 16, 2026. Candidates will still have the opportunity to apply after the initial deadline, but they will be required to pay an additional fee. The deadline for applying with a late fee of ₹600 is set for November 19, 2026. Therefore, candidates are advised to fill out their forms without waiting until the last minute.

**Application corrections allowed until November 22**

ICAI will also provide candidates with the opportunity to make necessary changes to their applications. A correction window will remain open from November 20 to November 22, 2026. During this period, candidates can modify details such as the exam center city, medium of examination, and other relevant information based on the available options. It is crucial to fill in all details carefully during the initial application process to avoid any complications later.

**Exam forms to be submitted via the SSP portal**

Candidates can apply online for the CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations through ICAI’s Student Services Portal (SSP). Along with completing the application process, candidates must pay the prescribed examination fee online, based on their chosen exam center. Fees and other application-related conditions for both Indian and overseas exam centers will apply in accordance with the official guidelines issued by ICAI.
