The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has shared important information for students intending to appear for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) examinations scheduled for September–November 2026. Specifically, the ICAI has released the complete schedule for the Foundation, Intermediate, and CA Final examinations; additionally, dates for select post-qualification examinations have also been announced. According to the official examination schedule, candidates are required to submit their online examination forms starting July 6, utilizing the CA Self-Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org.
The CA Foundation examinations will be conducted in September, the Intermediate examinations in the early days of September, and the CA Final examinations in November. The ICAI will strictly adhere to an online application process and will open a brief correction window for students wishing to make changes regarding their medium of examination or examination center preferences. Furthermore, the ICAI has granted students the option to choose either English or Hindi as their medium of examination while preparing for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams.

**No Changes to Examination Dates**
Candidates are also hereby informed that even if any examination day is declared a public holiday by central or state authorities in the coming days, the ICAI will not make any changes to the examination dates; in other words, the dates released by the ICAI shall remain final.
Most Exams from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
In its official notice, the ICAI has also clarified that most examinations will be of a continuous three-hour duration, held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be two hours, whereas Final Paper 6 and the International Taxation Assessment Test will be four hours. Except Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and the Post-Qualification Tests, students have been allotted an additional 15 minutes of reading time starting from 1:45 PM for all examinations.
What is the Application Fee?
For examination centers within India, the ICAI has set the fee for the Foundation examination at ₹1,500; for the Intermediate level, the fee is ₹1,500 for a single group and ₹2,700 for both groups. Meanwhile, candidates appearing for the CA Final examination will be required to pay ₹1,800 for a single group and ₹3,300 for both groups.
