The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducted the Probationary Officer Recruitment Preliminary Exam on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025. There's an important update for candidates who took this exam. According to media reports, the IBPS PO Preliminary Exam results are expected to be released this week.

The results of all candidates will be released online on the official website, ibps.in, where they can check and download their scorecards by entering their login details.

Intensify your preparations for the Main Exam
According to the calendar released by IBPS, the Main Exam for this recruitment is scheduled to be held on October 12, 2025. Therefore, candidates should begin preparing for this exam now.

Keep in mind that only those candidates who qualify for the Main Exam by achieving the required cutoff marks in the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear in the Main Exam.

How to Download the Prelim Scorecard
To check the IBPS PO Prelims result, first visit the official website, ibps.in.
On the website's home page, click on the result link under Recent Updates.
On the new page, enter your registration number, roll number, password, or date of birth and click the Login button.
After this, your scorecard will open on the screen, where you can check and download it.

Changes in the Main Exam Pattern
Candidates participating in this recruitment drive should be informed that this time, IBPS has changed the pattern of the Mains exam in addition to the Prelims exam. According to the new pattern, the IBPS PO Mains exam previously had a total of 155 questions, which has now been reduced. From now on, 145 questions will be asked. Previously, the exam allowed 180 minutes to complete the question paper, but now only 160 minutes will be required.
