IBPS PO Main Exam 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit cards for the Probationary Officer (PO) Main Exam 2025. Candidates can now download their call letters by visiting the official website, ibps.in. Candidates will need to use their registration number and date of birth to download the admit card.
The IBPS PO Main Exam will be held on October 12, 2025.
IBPS PO Main Exam Pattern
The IBPS PO Main Exam is divided into two parts: an objective test and a descriptive test. The first part, the objective test, consists of 145 questions from various subjects. The total marks are 200, and the time allotted is 160 minutes (approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes).
It includes 40 questions from Reasoning and Computers, 35 questions from General/Economics/Banking, 35 questions from English, and 35 questions from Data Analysis. Different time slots are allotted for each subject.
The second part is the descriptive exam. In this, candidates are required to write essays and letters. This exam carries 25 marks and is allotted 30 minutes.
IBPS conducted the preliminary exam for Probationary Officer recruitment on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025. This recruitment process is completed through three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Final Interview. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will now be eligible to appear for the Mains exam.
